On April 27th, 2024, OneFocus Consulting Service and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) Rumuola chapter co-hosted the event “Special Assembly of Minds; Fostering Economic & Human Capital Development in Rivers State” at OGEYI PLACE HOTELS (formerly LeMeridian Port Harcourt). This invite-only gathering attracted over 70 attendees from academia, public and private sectors, tech startups, NGOs, and more.
A highlight was a captivating conversation featuring futurists Mardis Bagley and Phnam Bagley, who shared profound insights into industrial design and innovation, demonstrating how advanced technologies have revolutionized industries, and emphasizing entrepreneurial collaboration in nurturing successful businesses.
Following the event, Phnam and Mardis, alongside Vincent Utchay and Shakirat Gbolagade from Onefocus Consulting Service, as well as Mr. Victor Aneleh, Chairman of The Nigerian Institute of Management (Rumuola chapter, Port Harcourt), embarked on meaningful courtesy visits across Rivers State. They exchanged ideas with the Vice Chancellor and Principal Officers of Rivers State University, strategized energy management with the Rivers State Special Adviser to the Governor on Power, and interacted with traditional leadership at the Palace of the King of Evo Kingdom. These interactions reinforced commitments to collaborative efforts for sustainable economic growth and regional human capital development.
